Welcome to my site!  A work of random things and not so random things reflected to reveal a hidden beauty and depth.

I love to paint with acrylics, but with a lack of space came an inablilty to create when I needed to... that was until I bought myself a camera.  For a short time I became obsessed with flowers, the sky at all different times of day, light playing through leaves on the trees, landscapes across the city and countryside.  I found so much beauty out there that I actually didn't know what to do with it.  

My mum has always asked what I am going to do with my pictures, I have always taken this to be in the literal practical sense (rather than in the way I suspect she means... which is, am I ever going to display them or sell them etc...) but because I thought practically about it I started to play with my pictures and I ended up creating something I hadn't expected.  

The first few images were crude, but I liked them, they invoked a feeling of awe in me and I realised I had found a way to create (using my own images) something that was different - I had never seen anything like it before and the fact that these images came from the random shapes formed by trees was just fantastic... plus it had the added bonus of taking up less space than painting ever did.

Since then I have carried on taking pictures, and created images until I had more than I knew what to do with.  So I showed someone the images I had created and they were impressed, and said that they had never seen anything like it before, and could imagine them in  large print.  I took this on board, always having thought my goal would be to print them off and hang them, now I was thinking maybe others may like to have them too.  So here I am showing you my art and hoping that you like it enough to want to own one.

They can be printed to most sizes, so prices will vary depending on the size and finish that you want.  If you're interested then contact me and we can discuss the options (best by email - kateclews52@gmail.com).  I have found a high quality printing company that can print on paper of different qualities as well as on aluminium, glass, canvas and gallery quality board.

All work is available in print and can therefore be printed in most formats and to most sizes.

Please be aware that each image has been through a long process to reach the picture you see - the price will reflect this  - however my aim is to be affordable.
